Silent Sky is a play by Lauren Gunderson that tells the true story about a female scientist in the 19th century, Henrietta Levitt. Levitt has a passion for astronomy and this play shows her journey to becoming a world renowned scientist. Levitt faces challenges as a female scientist ina male dominated field and she is often overlooked. She works hard to overcome the obstacles in front of her and show the world her discoveries.
