Shrek, Jr. The Musical Cast

This is Cooper’s debut show with Cal Drama as Shrek in Shrek Jr. Cooper has never played in theatre, but he did sing Christmas songs in his elementary school performances every year. Cooper thinks this will be interesting and likes Cal’s Drama program. Cooper loves playing video games and making videos on his YouTube channel, He also sometimes plays soccer, he has not earned many awards, (he cannot remember though). Cooper is excited and would like to give special thanks to his friends, family, and his dogs.

This will be Tedey's 5th performance in a production. Past performances include Flat Stanley, Horton Hears a Who, and The Lion King. They enjoy doing roller derby in their spare time. Tedey would like to express their love and gratitude for all their friends and family coming to see them in the show!

This will be Nik Mahon’s 5th show with Cal Drama ( Two scenes in the Shakespeare Showcase, Spencer Hathaway in Haunting of Hathaway House, Musical Theater through the Decades and Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka Jr., and currently, Fiona in Shrek Jr. ) Nik’s favorite thing about both Cal Drama and theater is the amount of amazing people you will meet, all the friends you will make, and the experience. Some of Nik’s interests include reading, listening to music, and watching tv. A special thanks to dad, mom, their amazing friends, and their dog Hannah.

This will be Willy’s fifth production with Cal Drama (Charlie Bucket, Willy Wonka Jr, Tybalt, Shakespeare showcase) Other favorite roles include: Olaf in Frozen (YAS), Bruce in Matilda (YAS) and now Donkey in Shrek jr with Cal Drama. His favorite thing about theater is getting to act with the people he loves. He thanks his family and friends for all of the support over the years.

This is Keeley Wu’s debut performance in Cal Drama playing Donkey in Shrek. Other Roles that Keeley has done would include: Sarafina in Lion King (NorCal School of the Arts), Hana and Dorothy in Newsies (NorCal), and Ensemble in Matilda (Young Actors Stage). She loves acting in Cal Drama because of all the nice people she works with and loves theater in general because she gets to act, sing, and dance. In Keeley’s spare time, she loves to read, draw, and play video games. She is so excited to be in this show and would love to thank her family, friends, and everyone who has supported her up until now.

This is Adaia’s second show with Cal Drama (Talent Show) but first time acting as Dragon in Shrek Jr. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, writing, and drawing. Her favorite part about theatre is performing and bringing the show together. Special thanks to her cat, Artemis.

This will be Jade´s first production with Cal Drama, debuting as Dragon and Fairy in Shrek Jr. Her current favorite role is Dragon. Jade likes to sing karaoke and socialize with close friends. Her favorite things about Cal drama are singing and acting. She would like to give thanks to her older sister, mom, and her friends for their love and support through this new adventure.

This will be Noah's first show at Cal Drama (Lord Farquaad, Shrek, Jr.). One of their favorite roles they've played is Pulitzer in Newsies, Jr. (NorCal School Of The Arts). Noah also likes to be brain dead and do absolutely nothing. Noah's favorite part of Cal Drama is the people he has meet. He just wants to say thanks to everyone. ❤

Elliott Talbert is making his Cal Drama debut as Captain of the Guards in Shrek, Jr. Elliott's dream role would be Thomas Jefferson in Hamilton. His favorite part about acting is that you can be anyone you want to be, and get a break from yourself. He also enjoys all the friends you make along the way. Some of his hobbies include playing capoeira, playing with his dog Leo, reading books, and learning about history. He would like to thank his parents who put a lot of time and effort into him being able to go to rehearsals.

This is Paige Winn’s first performance with Cal Drama (Shrek Jr.). Other roles with Young Actors Stage include: Oz/Professor Marvel from Wizard of Oz Jr, Left Claw from Moana Jr, and Sarafina from The Lion King Jr. Her favorite thing about theater is the costumes, songs, and the lines. She enjoys drawing, singing, and watching youtube. Paige is looking forward to future performances and would like to thank her parents and grandparents for being there for her and supporting her.

This will be Olivia’s second production with Cal Drama (Veruca Salt, Willy Wonka, Jr). Other dream roles include Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Regina George in Mean Girls, and Veronica Sawyer in Heathers. In her free time she likes singing along to musical theater tracks. Her favorite thing about being in theatre is the happiness of finishing a show.

This is Zachary's first production with Cal Drama (Pied Piper). He has also participated in a show at a church (one of the three birds). Favorite roles include Pied Piper from Shrek and Pinocchio from Shrek. He likes being in theaters because of musical numbers. Overall he'd like to try things out to have a successful life.

This is Hazels’ second show with Cal Drama (Willy Wonka Jr.). Some of her favorite roles include Oompa Loompa, Willy Wonka Jr. and Grandpa Troll, Frozen Jr (Young Actors Stage). She loves theatre because she can have fun while also working hard for something creative and fun. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, baking, and reading. Special thanks to her dogs Moki, Leo, Jojo, and Pepper.

Cat Stevens is set to make their grand debut as the Wicked Witch in the upcoming production of Shrek Jr. Despite having performed various skits and songs in the past, this will be their first time performing on a real stage. Cat has a deep passion for theatre and loves to embody a character with a unique life story, particularly someone with a high amount of energy. Cat’s dream roles are The Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz and Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. They love their family and cat, Winston.

Lily Sears-Ogus is making her Cal Drama debut with her first ever speaking role, Wicked Witch in Shrek Jr. In the past, she has been in the productions of Alice in Wonderland Jr (Young Actor’s Stage), Frozen Jr (Young Actor’s Stage), and two productions of The Lion King Jr (Young Actor’s Stage and NorCal School of the Arts). She enjoys the friendliness of her peers in Cal Drama and loves everything about theater. She loves reading, creative writing, and anything to do with horror. She’d like to thank her friends for convincing her to try out for Shrek, Jr. in the first place.

This is Milo’s first show with Cal Drama. He has been in several productions including 4 shows with Onstage at Leonardo da Vinci (all of which were made for the shows). His biggest role has been Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. His favorite thing about theater is making friends. Milo would like to thank his family for helping learn lines, dances and other things.

This is Isabel’s first production with Cal Drama. Isabel has been in 3 plays (Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, and Wizard of Oz). Her favorite role has been a tornado in the Wizard of Oz and a hyena in The Lion King. Also all of the productions she has been in were with the company Young Actors Stage. Isabel enjoys crocheting and knitting. Isabel likes meeting new people in theater who have the same interests as her. She would like to thank her mom and dad for driving her to school every day so that she did not have to bike home.

Stephany is making her Cal Dramatics debut as Mad Hatter in Shrek Jr. Stephany has had experience in dance and music before, but she hasn’t done a musical theater show, instead participating in things like talent shows, cheerleading, and other events, like singing the national anthem at football games. Stephany decided to do a show this year due to the fact that it will help her be more outgoing and give her more experience in different areas of performing arts. The thing she likes most about Cal drama and theater in general is the inclusivity. A theater setting is a safe space for everyone, and she appreciates a place where you can just be someone else for a bit. She would also like to thank her family for helping her come this far, along with her dog, Leiya.

This will be Alejandra’s second production with Cal Dramatics (Mrs. Bucket, Willy Wonka, Storyteller, Shrek Jr.). Alejandra’s favorite part about theatre is working with people who share the same passion as her. In her free time, she enjoys drawing. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their love and support.

Jessica Mock is making their first perform with Cal Drama as one of the Storytellers. Dreams roles are the being the assistant type of roles. Their favorite thing about Cal Drama is how the crew makes their shows seem dramatic. Their special interest/freetime is art. They thank their friends and family for supporting them.

Lucia Orozco is making her first debut performance with Cal Drama as a Storyteller in Shrek Junior. She plays softball in her free time and loves to travel the world. One of her favorite things about Cal Drama is the community and all the new skills and experiences that come with it. She would like to give a special thank to all of her friends and family for supporting her through this and her sister for helping her with her lines. And she can’t wait to see everyone there!

Vanessa is having her second show with Cal Drama (James, Willy Wonka Jr.) She enjoys reading novels, drawing, and writing stories in her free time. Dream roles include Heather Chandler in Heathers. Her favorite thing about Cal Drama is working and having fun alongside her peers. She wants to give special thanks to her family and friends for their support.

Genevieve Brewer is making her first debut performance with Cal drama as Pig 2 in Shrek Junior. She plays soccer, volleyball, and track in her free time and loves to travel. Her favorite thing about Cal Drama is the community and all the new skills and experiences that come with it. A special thanks to her friends and family, and her two cats Max and Kit-Cat.

This is going to be Devin’s 3rd show with Cal Drama (Grandma Georgina, Willy Wonka, Jr. & Feste, Shakespeare Showcase ) and now Pig# 3 in Shrek Jr. Willy Wonka was their first ever play in general, and they enjoyed every second of it. Devin’s favorite things to do is act, draw, and watch the Lorax. Their dream role is the Onceler from the Lorax. Devin thanks his friends for supporting their acting career.

Finn Waldren is about to make their Cal Dramatics debut as Mama Bear in Shrek Jr. Finn's dream roles are Janis from Mean Girls and Veronica Sawyer from Heathers. Their favorite thing about Cal Dramatics is the experiences and friends they have made along the way, and they will forever be grateful for it. Other than Drama, Finn enjoys art, music, and baking. They want to give thanks to their friends family and most of all Nik for being there for him through everything.

This is Alexis’s first time performing in a show and with Cal Drama. Alexis plays Papa Bear and Elf. Past performances include being a narrator in a play at Saint Patrick's Academy. What Alexis likes about Cal theater is making friends people who understand them, and wouldn't make fun of them. Their hobbies are sketching/drawing and collecting tittle toys and stickers. She thanks her mom and rest of her family members or supporting them along the way.

This is Izzie’s second production with Cal Drama (Oompa Loompa, Willy Wonka Jr, and currently playing Young Fiona, Shrek). Other roles include: Guard in Aladdin (DMTC). Her dream roles include: Sophie in Mamma Mia, and Cinderella in Into the Woods. In her free time she likes to read, crochet, and paint. Izzie’s favorite thing about theater is getting to make new friends and playing new roles. She would like to give a special thanks to her good friends she’s made from theater.

This will be Vivienne Barba’s first time doing a production with Cal Drama (ensemble). Her favorite thing about theater is getting close with people she's never even met in her life. She wishes to thank her mom for giving good advice for her, picking her up after rehearsal and making sure she's on top of things, and making sure she's comfortable.

Angela Escamilla Vaca is making her Cal Drama debut as Rapunzel/Ensemble. This is her first time in a play other than DESIGNER of Haunting of Hathaway House. After some years of Rincones De mi Tierra (a traditional Mexican Dance group) that went in different stages she likes to skate and enjoys hiking. Her favorite thing about being in the theater ( Cal Drama ) is making friends and getting out of her comfort zone and would like to give a special shout-out to her mom dad and sister that has helped her for this role.
