Director
Molly Ensminger"Frozen" holds a very special place in Mrs. Ensminger's heart and she is beyond excited to be working with such talented people to bring it to life for our community. In her second year as the drama teacher, this is her fourth production as director. As a Buena grad and former drama student, she feels immensely honored to be carrying the torch for future generations. She earned her bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from CSUN in 2008. She would like to thank everyone who has supported her through this process, especially her family. Enjoy the show!

Vocal Director
Kevin DowneyThis is Mr. Downey’s 22nd production as vocal director for the musicals here at Buena. He has had the honor to study voice locally with Linda Ottsen, Elizabeth Helms, and Erica Lazerow, and is so thankful to have the opportunity to direct the Buena High School Choir during the school day since 2015. There truly is nothing more joyous than singing together in harmony with others, so it has been a privilege getting to see this hard-working cast learn how amazing and special musical theater is! Mr. Downey would like to thank Molly Ensminger, Tatum Harris, and Bridget Wareham for such an awesome collaboration and for the million and a half things that they did to help make this production possible. Most importantly, he would like to thank his lovely wife and son for being supportive of the extra hours that he put in on this project! Thank you for coming, and enjoy the show!

Assistant Director
Tatum HarrisThis is Tatum’s 13th show assistant directing with Buena, and she couldn’t be happier to be back for such a fun show! She would like to thank Mrs. E for trusting her to help bring her visions to life; the cast for being amazing kids who inspire her every day; and her boyfriend, Spencer, for being the man she will always look forward to coming home to after long days.

Olivia McGowanOlivia is a senior and this is her fourth show at Buena. She is so honored to be a part of a show with such a talented cast and crew for her final high school production. She would like to thank her mother for inspiring her to join theater and for being by her side every step of the way.

Rosetta MerendaThis is Rosetta’s sixth show at Buena but the first one not being an actor. They are learning the ropes (both metaphorically and physically) of being a stage manager, rounding out their theater knowledge. They would like to thank their cast, crew, family, and director.

Kai WyattA veteran actor at Buena High School, this is Kai’s first show working on the other side of the curtain, and they’re thrilled to work with this lovely group of people. Kai would like to thank Olivia, Tatum, and Ms. E for this wonderful opportunity to grow and expand their talents.

House Manager
Francesca MartinezFrancesca is a past Drama 2 student and continues to contribute to theater by participating as house manager! This is her fifth show as a house manager. She has acted in three musicals outside of Buena, and is looking forward to supporting in crew with Buena's Theater Department!

Sound Designer
Sophia MedranoThis is Sophia’s fourth and final show doing sound design for Buena, though she hopes to continue designing in the future. She would like to thank her dad and her best friends, Aubrey and Chase, for always supporting her.

Juliet OrnelasThis is Juliet’s fourth and final show, and she is very excited to be working with wonderful people again. She is sad for this to be her last, but she’s glad to have had this opportunity.

Chris Inda This is Chris’s second production at Buena High School. He also worked on Buena’s fall play ("Macbeth") and extremely enjoyed the experience. He is a part of the sound crew and wishes that everyone enjoys every second of this production!

Lighting Designer
Katlynn FarnsworthKatlynn Farnsworth is a sophomore at Buena High School. This is her first show with the theatre department and as lighting designer. She is so honored to be working alongside her sister and all the other amazing cast and crew members. She hopes you enjoy the experience and all of the hard work put into this production!

Head of Set Construction
Santiago Lee-BaezThis is Santiago's seventh and final show at Buena. Having spent his last four years of high school participating in almost every production (both on- and off-stage), he's excited to be able to bring his creativity and dedicate his time to the show one last time. He'd like to thank his mentor, Spencer Paredes, as well as his drama teachers/directors, Karen Rodriguez and Molly Ensminger, for always giving him the opportunity and the support throughout his years in the program.

Master Puppeteer/Prop Master/Light Tech
Joey Eckert-SmithMeet Joey Eckert-Smith, one of the two prop department heads this show. This is his third time being a lead on props. He has occasionally done lights but prefers being backstage, keeping things organized and in shape for the actors to use and interact with on stage.

Maxwell PerroncelThis is Max's second time working on a Buena production. This is his first musical and he is very proud to be a part of the theater department and work on "Frozen."

Lexie RowleyThis is the fifth show that Lexie has been able to work on. She enjoys this part of theater because it allows her to be creative and social. She’s excited to be able to work with an amazing cast and can’t wait for future projects.

Hazel LackerdasHazel has been a part of the hair and makeup team for the last two years and she can't believe that this is her final show. She is so grateful for the opportunities and she hopes you enjoy the show! <3
