Director’s Note

It has been such an honor to work with our cast and crew on Hadestown, creating our own world that is inspired by the script, music, and playwright.  We are so grateful for our Parent Boosters who supported us with tech week meals and transportation, and hugs! Special thanks to Valerie Garrigan,  Loralee Coulter, Megan Hunter, Tony McGowan, Ben Samson, Sean Gardner, Jeff Rohrig, our incredible orchestra, our staff, and administration. Your support and sharing our amazing young humans has been such a blessing to our cast and crew, empowering them to be their best.

To our cast and crew, thank you for your endless hours, for giving up Saturdays and after school, and even Sunday afternoons.I love you to the moon and beyond. You are the reason I do what I do. Seniors, I am forever grateful for the opportunity and honor of working with all of you the past four years. I cannot wait to see all that you will achieve. To our student designers/choreographers, Katie, Ananya, T.G. Mali, Mahalet, Addy, your willingness to risk in creating something new and different is so special. The future's so bright for all of you.

Chris and Casey, thank you for seeing our vision and helping us create this world on stage. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work with you and watch the magic you create with students. Taylor Wyatt, thank you for giving our students so many opportunities to learn. Finally, Liz, thank you for our journey of creating Hadestown. It is not often that a parent and their child have the same passion for storytelling. It has been such an honor to work with you on this show.
