Seussical JR. Cast

Viviana is in 5th grade. She enjoys crafting, learning about sharks, and participating in drama. Her prior roles in BPES drama were Michael in Peter Pan, LeFou in Beauty and the Beast and Candy Man in Willy Wonka. She is so excited to be cast as Cat in the Hat. Vivi would like to thank her family for always supporting her, her brother Enzo for always helping her with her lines and Mrs. Szumowski and Mrs. Staie for giving her the opportunity to be the Cat in the Hat!

Alana is a 6th grader at BPES and has enjoyed being in various Elementary Drama productions- her favorite being Charlie Bucket in Willy Wonka. She enjoys playing soccer for the Dutchmen, swimming, and playing the flute. She would like to thank her Mom and family for their support, her friends for always having her back, Lilli Faulker for her help and kindness, and Mrs. Szumowski and Mrs. Staie for putting the whole show together!

Anna is a 6th grader and is thrilled to be playing Horton the Elephant! She has enjoyed taking part in several BPES productions, most recently Willy Wonka. She also enjoys playing soccer and karate. Anna would like to thank her parents for transporting her from rehearsals, her friends for their encouragement, Lilli Faulkner for her vocal help, Mrs. Staie and Mr. Aery for all their hard work, and Mrs. Szumowski for this opportunity and for always encouraging her to be the best Horton she can be!

Violet is a 6th grader at BPES. She has been in several productions. Her favorite was a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast. She enjoys competitive dance, singing and crocheting. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support. She would also like to thank Mrs. Szumowski and Mrs. Staie for trusting her with this role and for all of their hard work. She would also like to extend thanks to Mr. Aery for all he has done to make the production a success.

In her fifth drama season, Evelyn Spraker, also known as Mayzie La Bird, continues to embrace her theatre journey. She is grateful for the opportunities she has been given, and with each performance, she remains dedicated to pouring her soul into singing, dancing, and acting. From her early days as a chorus member to stepping into minor lead roles in productions such as "The Sound of Music" and "Beauty and the Beast," Evelyn's growth is a testament to her passion and perseverance. Landing her first lead role as Veruca Salt in "Willy Wonka Jr." was an exciting moment for her, and she had a great time working with the cast. Evelyn extends her heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Szumowski for her guidance and support, to Mrs. Staie, Mr. Aery, and Mrs. Aery for making the play look amazing, and finally, to her family for their encouragement.

Gianna is a 6th grader at B-P Elementary School. She has been in several BPES Drama club productions, her favorite being Beauty and the Beast~ Lumiere. Gianna enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and hanging out with her friends. She would like to thank her parents for helping her practice and for coming to all of her productions. She would also like to thank her friends, and Mrs. S. for giving her this opportunity!

Jake Teresco, is in the sixth grade. His favorite hobby is skiing. He has been in numerous drama productions, of these, his favorite show was The Sound of Music. He would like to thank his Mom and Dad for making this show a priority and bringing him to all of his rehearsals.

Aleya is a 5th grader at BPES and has been in several Elementary Drama productions, her favorite being a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast. She loves dancing, singing, and swimming. Aleya would like to thank her parents for all of their support, Mrs. Szumowski and Mrs. Staie for guiding her through each production, and Kate Szumowski for being her vocal coach.
