BSPAC is excited to offer this production in cooperation with the East County Performing Arts Association in Julian,California. Staged over back-to-back weekends in Julian and Borrego Springs, this is an ambitious production of Shakespeare's familiar classic that theater-goers will be talking about for years!  An age-old vendetta between two powerful families erupts into bloodshed while a young lovestruck Romeo Montague falls in love with Juliet Capulet.

Co-Directed byDon Winslow and Kait Mushe - Don is a New York Times bestselling author whose novels have been adapted for film and television.  Having directed stage productions in New York, England, Rhode Island and elsewhere, he is best known locally for his work on the Spencer Valley School Shakespeare program, Julian High School musicals and the Pine Hill Theater. Kate Musche is co-director and is a long-time performer and director of San Diego theater.

East County Performing Arts Association is based in Julian but serves the wider backcountry.  Our vision is ‘A Community Transformed by Art’.
