Story Moosa is a theatre artist and educator based in Bowling Green. She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Marshall University (2018) and an MFA in Acting from Long Island University Post (2020). 

Jim is grateful for the opportunity to be the assistant director of the Appliance Department and to Story for allowing him to be a part of the show. Jim most recently directed The Box with Toledo Voices. Most of his experience in directing has come from Toledo Christian Schools where he has been the high school theatre director since 2010. His most recent accomplishment there was The Sound of Music presented back in late March. He looks forward to many other directing opportunities.

River Slone from Middletown Ohio is a bit of a jack of all trades when it comes to theater. They are currently pursuing a BAC in theater from Bowling Green State University, with a specialization in Acting/Directing. They are excited to be making their stage management debut at Black Swamp Players. They’ve previously Co-Directed Someplace Warm at BGSU in the fall of 2025. They were the 1st ASM for BGSU’s 2026 spring dance concert. They also appeared on stage as Voice 3 in Black Swamp Player’s production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time in 2023. As well as assistant directing Murder at the Pie Auction at BSP last spring. They’re very excited for everyone to see the hard work that has been put into this production.
