Director
Nancy Wright
Nancy Wright fell in love with theatre as a child and has been making plays ever since. A former member of Actors Equity Association, she toured in comedies and dramas from the mid-1970s through the 1980s. Then she turned her professional attention to teaching and writing but continued acting and directing wherever she lived: Texas, Florida, West Virginia, Michigan, and Ohio. Recent directing projects include Tiny Beautiful Things and The Realistic Joneses (ACT), Now and Then, Love Letters, and Bedroom Farce (Village Players), and David MacGregor’s Sherlock Holmes trilogy (Toledo Rep). At Black Swamp Players, her script Mimi's Famous Company was the first winner of the Telling Stories competition, and she played Tess in Marjorie Prime. Writing under her nickname Nina, she’s a professionally produced playwright and a traditionally published novelist. She’s also a ghostwriter and writing coach.
