Shrek the Musical is a show with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire. 

Based on the 2001 DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek, tells a story of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey with a talking Donkey and a spirited princess. The original Broadway production opened in December of 2008 and closed in January 2010. 

Berwick Area High School is very excited to put on the production of Shrek the Musical for the Berwick Community. This will be Berwick's 5th show, with other productions including Into the Woods (2022), Little Shop of Horrors (2021), Addams Family (2019-2020), and Beauty and the Beast (2018).
