Exit, Pursued by a Bear Cast

Joey Engh (Kyle Carter)
Joey Engh (Kyle Carter) is grateful to be performing in his inaugural BCC production. In his 15 years as an actor, he has a multitude of credits in live theatre and film on community theatre and semi-pro circuits in the South and Midwest. Having spent the last few years moving around the country, he is comforted by the familiarly of the stage.
John Pike (Kyle Carter)
John Pike (Kyle Carter) is a 26-year-old student actor who originally hails from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He moved to Lee, Massachusetts in August 2017 in order to enroll at the College Internship Program, where he quickly became involved with CIP Berkshire’s Creative Arts Department, which annually holds multiple events each year at The Spectrum Playhouse, located at 20 Franklin Street in Lee. The most notable of these annual events are CIP Berkshire’s musical performances that are shown in early July of every summer. John has played a role in each of the past three live musical productions for The Spectrum Playhouse. These roles have included Captain Albert Lennox in The Secret Garden (2018), Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors (2019), and most recently as Ladislav Sipos in She Loves Me (2022). In addition, John also performed as Shere Khan in a production of The Jungle Book that was produced by The Berkshire Children’s Theatre Group, and was performed at The Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield in January 2022. John recently received his Associate’s of Liberal Arts from Berkshire Community College this summer, and is now enrolled in the brand new Technical Theatre Certificate program at BCC, which he is aiming to complete by the end of the Spring 2023 semester, so that he can transfer to an undergraduate theatre studies program either within western New England, or closer to his native home of the Upper South.
