Winter Showcase 2024 Cast

Ace is a junior in high school and has been in BCT for six years. Some of his past appearances have been Dante’s Inferno, Stowaway, Ten Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse, and Hamlet. When not on stage, he enjoys roller skating, writing, and playing Minecraft. Ace would like to thank his parents for introducing him to BCT when he first moved to Barrington, and their friends, who have dutifully allowed him to recruit them into BCT, year after year.

Addy is 9 years old and has been working with BCI for almost two years now! Some of her past appearances include And A Nuther Thing (BCI, How To Get Away With The Murder Mystery (BCI) and I Don't Want to Grow Up (Arts Alive). When not on the stage, Addy enjoys reading, writing and creating art. She would like to thank her family, her instructor, Kelly, for always helping and supporting her along the way, and especially everybody who took the time to come see the show!

Alice is 13 years old and has been working with BCT for 7 years. Some of her past appearances include Hamlet, Check Please, and A Midsummer Nights Dream. When not on stage, Alice enjoys listening to music, writing, and riding her bike. They would like to thank their parents, her brother, and Taylor Swift.

Amelia is 12 years old and so excited to be appearing in her first-ever show with BCT! Her past stage credits include Frozen, Hero vs. Villains, Moana, and Wizard of Oz (Arts Alive!) and High School Musical (Camp Runioa). When not on stage, Amelia enjoys playing soccer, hanging with friends, going to Starbucks and Sephora, and doing complex math equations. She would like to thank her family, especially her sister, Addy, for telling her about BCT, as well as everyone in the BCT program. Thank you all for coming, I hope you enjoyed our show!

Ariette is 11 years old and has previously done three shows with BCT. Some of her past appearances include Will You Be My Nemesis, A Nuther Thing, and The Entire American Revolution (in 40 minutes or less). When not on stage, Ariette enjoys playing with her cats, painting, and skiing. She would like to thank her mom & dad, brother, Griffin, and her cats for their endless inspiration.

Audrey is in 11th grade and this is her 6th session with BCT. Some of her favorite past shows are A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, A Simple Task, and Once Upon a Mattress (through Stagemasters). Besides theater, she also loves reading, writing, debating, singing, and watching movies.

Benji is in the 4th grade and has been working with BCT since summer 2023. Some of their past appearances include Will You Be My Nemesis and We’re Not Just Good Lookin’. When not on stage, Benji enjoys gymnastics, audiobooks, and knitting. They would like to thank Liz for all her help running lines and their grandparents, Grandmama and Papa T who are in the audience tonight from Indiana.

This is Charlotte’s 7th season with BCT. Favorite past shows include Murdargh a pirate murder mystery, The Mysterious Case of the Mysterious Case, and The Amusing Dating Life of Apollo (writer/director). When on stage, Charlotte enjoys writing while surviving her senior year at BHS. She would like to thank her family.

Chase is 8 years old and appearing in his second BCT show. He has previously appeared in Will You Be My Nemesis. He would like to thank his parents and Nika.

Eden is in 11th grade and this is her second session with BCT. Some of her past appearances include How to Get Away With a Murder Mystery and The Amusing Dating Life of Apollo. When not on stage, Eden enjoys art, video games, and psychology. She would like to thank the lovely Charlotte Mento for involving (forcing) her into her senior project show!

Emma is 16 and in her seventh session of BCT. She has appeared in A Midsummer Night's Dream, MacBeth, The Lorax, and was recently in the BHS production of Once Upon a Mattress. Her hobbies include singing, acting, and reading when she probably should be staying focused. She would like to thank Kelly and Lisa for directing this session (and for putting up with her many absences), her brother for not being too mad when she forces him to help her practice, and her parents for continuing to support her, even if it means running lines at the airport.

Kendal is 17 years old, in her junior year, and this is her 19th session with BCT! Some of her past stage credits with BCT include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Actor’s Nightmare, Hamlet, and Shuddersome: Tales of Poe. When not on stage, she enjoys writing (especially poetry), competing on the BHS debate team with her awesome partner Audrey, consuming copious amounts of media, and talking non-stop. She would like to thank her parents and friends for supporting her in everything she does, as well as Kelly and Lisa for all they’ve done to make this such a wonderful community.

Liora is 9 years old. This is her second year with BCT! Before "Oddball," she appeared in the BCT shows "Will You Be My Nemesis," "How to Get Into College," "The Tempest," "Mysterious Case of the Mysterious Case," and "Nuther Thing." She was Sylvia Llewelyn Davies in the Arts Alive production of "I Won't Grow Up!" Liora loves to write fiction, draw characters, play piano, and do gymnastics. She would like to thank her director Kelly and the BCT community for being overall awesome.

is 16 and has been working with BCT for seven sessions. Some of his past appearances include Hamlet in Hamlet, The Razor in Murd-ARRR!, and Depression in Five Stages. When Not on stage, he enjoys inline skating, reading, and passing Chem. He would like to thank his mom and Kendal.

Max has been with BCT for 6 years, he is incredibly talented and very handsome according to fellow actor, Simon Taylor. Max is adored by everyone he encounters, he is also dyslexic and has terminal ADHD. Max has starred in shows such as Murdarrr as well as others. Max would like to thank all his fans and supporters. He is a prestigious Jewish boy who enjoys the outdoors.

Owen is in sixth grade and has worked with BCT for nearly two years. His past appearances include A Nuther Thing, Will You Be My Nemesis, and Hamlet. When not on stage, he enjoys playing piano, saxophone, chess and lacrosse. He would like to thank his sister for helping him with getting involved with BCT and theater in the first place. He would also like to thank his family for supporting him throughout his acting career.

Pluto is 16 and has been working with BCT for six years. Some of his past appearances include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet, and Zoodate. When not on stage, he enjoys roller derby, writing, and playing Minecraft. He would like to thank his parents for supporting him in BCT and Kelly and Lisa for being awesome directors.

Sabine is 17 years old and has been working with BCT for only 2 shows now. Some of her past performances include Rosencrantz in Hamlet. When not on stage, she enjoys reading, writing, and baking. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support

Simon is 14 years old, and he likes to act and sing. Way back in 2019, he achieved distinction on national exams in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) program. He joined BCT in 2020. Of all his virtual plays, his favorite so far has been Help Desk. Of his non-virtual plays, he enjoyed playing George in The Actor’s Nightmare. He also works with Arts Alive, most recently as Miss Agatha Trunchbull in Matilda. He is a 9th-grader at Barrington High School who is really glad to be doing some more Shakespeare. He would like to thank his dog, Rufus.

Soren is 12 years old and has been working with BCT for about 5.5 years. Some of his past appearances include 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse, The Scottish Play, Myths at the Edge of the World, and The Stowaway. When not on stage, he enjoys reading, sleeping, gaming, and playing with his dog. He would like to thank his parents, his dog, and his old babysitter for telling him about BCT in 2018.

Zachary is 14, and this is his 4th show with BCT. Some of his past appearances include The Mysterious Case of the Mysterious Case, and Will You Be My Nemesis. When not on stage, Zachary enjoys playing the drums and video games. He would like to thank his mom, dad, and sister for all of their love and encouragement.
