Ilana Lydia (Co-Director, Artistic Director of B3) Ilana has been Artistic Director of B3 Theater, Inc. for five years. She is a playwright, actor, and sound designer in addition to being a director. Favorite credits at B3 include directing GALATEA; WATER FOR BREAKFAST; ZOMBIE GIRL AND SWAMP GIRL; FEFU AND HER FRIENDS; and EMPTY WORDS:AN ADAPTATION OF CRIME & PUNISHMENT. Ilana is grateful to her cast, crew, playwright, and fellow director BJ Garrett for sharing his process.  Each and every person involved has been a pure delight to work with.  She hopes you enjoy the show.

BJ Garrett (Co-Director/Designer) BJ Garrett is honored to sit next to Ilana and Carlin for his first B3 production! A native Phoenician actor, director, and filmmaker, he has been putzing around valley stages for over 15 years, yet people still keep giving him work for some reason. Favorite prior directorial gigs include A Bloody Mary Christmas, Fennec the Fox (ariZoni nomination), and Edward Albee’s The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?. BJ next takes the director’s chair for Space 55’s Orange Skies, which premieres on March 31st at Metropolitan Arts Institute. As an actor, he has been spotted in productions such as God of Carnage (Michael), Curiouser & Curiouser (Tweedle Dum), and the Night of the Chicken series (Jay Travers, ariZoni nomination). He is a partner with local film collective Synthetic Human Pictures and the Artistic Director of Space 55.

Carlin Thomas (Assistant Director/Stage Manager/Costume Assistant) Carlin (they/them) is grateful and thrilled to be in their 3rd B3 production, having acted as multiple roles in GALATEA and directed two shorts for the 2nd Festival of Youth Shorts in January. They are a playwright, author, actor, and visual artist, and also provide audio description for theatres and events in Phoenix. They are in production for a scripted podcast called MY FATHER'S FILES produced by Inked in Gray, set to release later this year, which they write and act for. You can find them online primarily on Instagram @carlincreating to keep up with their pursuits.

They would like to offer special thanks to Ilana for welcoming them back into the world of theatre with arms wide open, and to their wife for being so supportive, despite theatre all-but kidnapping her wife away for weeks at a time. Love you, significant otter!

Monika Hall (Production Assistant) Monika (she/her) is a sketch writer(cool heys), and you can check out a sampling of her work on Medium. 2A is Monika’s first foray into anything theater. She feels she couldn’t ask for a better group of people and is ecstatic about everyone being so welcoming. Thanks doods!
