Augusta Performing Arts Club

Augusta students have participated in performing arts for many years through the annual One Act competition and 8th Grade Play. The reintroduction of a school musical came in 2018 with the production of Changing Minds. Since then, the Augusta Performing Arts Club was created and a number of musicals have been performed for the community, including Beauty and the Beast, Matilda, and The Addams Family The program has expanded to include both middle and high school students in an annual spring musical, as well as opportunities for elementary students to get on stage through a summer theatre camp. The Augusta Performing Arts Club is looking forward to more growth and success in the coming years with a new auditorium being built on school grounds, thanks to an incredibly generous donation from a community member. The program takes pride in the opportunities it provides Augusta students to become involved, find their creative outlet, and give back to the community through a shared passion for theatre and the arts.
