Jason Cox (Nicely Nicely )Jason is a junior at Virginia Tech who was last seen as Chuck in "Footloose."Jason has been performing in theatre for over seven years and he is excited for everyone to see all the amazing work that the cast and crew has put into this.
Benny Southstreet (Anthony Neal)Anthony was last seen on the Attic stage six years ago. It is a true pleasure to be returning to Attic, having been a part of numerous shows at Attic previously. He greatly appreciates all those who make Attic work (the people of Attic, supporters, and the audiences).
Joesph Kavanaugh (Rusty Charlie )Joe is a teacher for Roanoke County Schools at Hidden Valley High School. He has appeared in numerous productions throughout the Roanoke Valley. When he is not on stage or in front of a class, he can be found singing, or even occasionally doing a bit of elfing.
Bayley Lindevaldsen (Sarah Brown )This is Bayley's first show with Attic Productions, and she is excited to perform for you as Sarah Brown! Hailing from Lynchburg, VA, she is happy to be sharing this experience alongside Josh, her talented musician and loving husband, whom she met through theatre. All glory to the Lord!
Wyatt Ewell (Arvide Abernathy )Wyatt has directed or appeared in 39 productions at Attic since 2001. He serves on Attic's Board of Directors and is its past President. Wyatt is a retired Instructional Designer who hosts Virginia's Triple Crown Lodge, an Airbnb just off the Appalachian Trail.
Jaye Harvey Wellons (Elderly Woman, Agatha/Mission Band)Jaye returns to Attic for her fourth summer musical along with her guy, Hugh Wellons. Last seen peddling strawberries in "Oliver", she sings in the Roanoke Valley Choral Society, Opera Roanoke Chorus, and the
Sanctuary Choir at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church.
Elizabeth Cromwell (Calvin)Elizabeth is so excited to be making her debut on the stage of Attic Productions! She is known for online video entertainment, as a voice actor, director, and singer. Roles in online productions include: "Planet Humans," "Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective," "Rhythm Heaven," "Professor Layton and the Curious Village" and "OMORI."
Katie Miner (Martha)She was last seen on the Attic stage as the final Watson in 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes'. She enjoyed being the musical director last summer for 'Footloose! The Musical'. Her favorite role at Attic was as Rhonda Lynn in 'Christmas Belles'. She finds time to garden and read between homeschooling and hiking with her six amazing kids and supportive husband.
Kelly Hoagland (Harry the Horse)Kelly once left 1984 to get tacos, ended up on 3029. Accidentally started a moon-based kazoo cult. Keeps forgetting what century it is. Invented disco twice. Thinks email is black magic. May have been her own grandmother. Still searching for the taco. Found a sombrero instead.
David Boyer (Lieutenant Brannigan)David was last seen as Sherlock Holmes/ Mr. Rucastle in Attic Productions "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes." His favorite roles at Attic include Wadsworth in "Clue: On Stage", and Colonel Brandon in "Sense and Sensibility". When not on stage, David enjoys hiking, cooking, and reading a good book.
Joel LeQuire (Nathan Detroit)After nineteen years of trying to forget he enjoys acting, Joel LeQuire returns to the stage in his attic debut as Nathan Detroit. When Joel is not on stage, he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, and riding his motorcycle.
Heather Sexton (Miss Adelaide )Heather is happy to return to the Attic stage. She holds a BA in Theatre from Concord University. She has performed in numerous productions in both professional & community theatre over the years. Favorite roles include Miss Hannigan in "Annie" & Babe in "The Pajama Game". She would like to thank her daughter Zoe for being her unofficial understudy & James for the opportunity to play this role.
Jake Dellinger (Sky Masterson )Jake is so happy to be back at Attic after a six-year hiatus! He was recently in a few Showtimers productions, including "9 to 5" and "In- Laws, Outlaws and Other People." Favorite credits include Herr Schultz in "Cabaret" and Jack in "Into the Woods" at Theatre Roanoke College. He would like to thank his friends, families, cast mates, crew and directors.
Kim Thompson (Joey Biltmore, Ensemble )Kim is thrilled to live out her love of theatre with the talented community of Attic Productions, marking her first theatrical performance in 35 years. Kim currently works at Boys and Girls Club of SWVA and thanks her friends and family, especially her parents and six amazing kiddos, for all their love and support.
Caroline Hancock (Mimi)Caroline is thrilled to be making her debut with Attic. Her recent credits include "In-Laws, Outlaws, and other people (that should be shot)" as Beth and Grease as "Sandy". She would like to thank her homies for always keeping it real.
Latasha Lewis (General Matilda B. Cartwright, Gambler )Latasha is a Customer service representative at BJ's Club, has a Business Administration Certificate from Martinsburg College. In her free time, she spends time with her family and binge watches her favorite shows. She's a jokester with a big heart. It's been 15 years since she has been in a musical and is pursuing to get back to it. Guys and
Dolls is her first show since then as well as this is her first production with Attic
Kathy Boyer (Big Jule)She was last seen on the Attic stage as Reverend Mother in "Nunsensations". Other favorite roles include Mabel (The Roads to Home) and Mrs. White (Clue: Onstage). But her most treasured role is Nana to her adorable grandchildren.
Kaiya Hoagland (Master of Cermonies, Hotbox girl )Kaiya has been performing on the Attic stage since she was ten years old and is excited to perform with her Attic family again. She would like to thank everyone at Attic for nurturing her passion for theatre and guiding her towards her dreams, which have led her to pursue JMU's theatre program this fall.
Sagen Blackwell (Allison)Sagen, previously seen on stage in "Outlaws, In-Laws, and Other People Who Should Be Shot", "Footloose:, and numerous other productions, holds four degrees, including a PhD, and enjoys learning and staying busy. She hopes you enjoy the show and all the hard (but fun) work involved!
Kori Harris (Ferguson )Kori devotes her life to investigating lost socks. She's interrogated dryers, shadowed laundry baskets, and once held a fabric softener hostage. No sock escapes justice. Her latest theory involves wormholes and mischievous gnomes. She wears mismatched socks daily to blend in with the suspects.
Keira Booze (Vernon )Keira is excited to be back on the Attic stage! Her previous roles have
been Winnie Tate in "Tuck Everlasting", Maria Delgado in "9 to 5",
Miranda in the "Tempest", Madam Arcoti in "Blythe Spirit", and Mayella US in "To Kill a Mockingbird."She was offered a scholarship for theatre at Radford and plans to attend there after high school. She hopes ya'll enjoy the show!
Brittany Lewis (Ensemble,Party girl)Brittany is an operations specialist for First Citizens bank, has a B.A. in Art from Hollins University, an A.A. in Liberal Arts from VWCC, and is currently pursuing a professional certificate in Risk Management. In her free time, she loves painting, drawing, and chasing after her two
children. But most of all, Brittany has a passion for theatre! She has been in several shows since high school and Guys and Dolls will be her third production with Attic.
Paige Walters (HotBox Girl/ Waiter/ Crap Shooter Dancer )Paige is so excited about this opportunity! She is a Sophomore at Roanoke College and is actively studying Theatre Education and Theatre Performance. Favorite past credits include: "Sense and Sensibility" (Miss Grey/Servant), "John Proctor is the Villain"(Ivy), Percy Jackson(Katie/ Squirrel), and "Alice in Wonderland" (Alice). She will also be performing as Huldey in "The Moors" at Roanoke College in September!
Twila Spiker (Ensemble)Twila is so excited to do this play! I have performed in two plays, 'How to Survive Acting in a Bad Play w/o being Traumatized for Life" (Firefighter), and "Peter Pan" (Smee/Nana). I am excited to do this play as I love singing and I absolutely love theater in general!
Audrianna Romano (Ensemble )Audrianna is so excited to make her attic debut in "Guys and Dolls" last seen on Mill mountain's "Peter and the starchatcher" (Ted) and many other roles. She is a current rising junior at Hidden valley high school. When she is not on stage or enjoying tech she enjoys singing, fashion, color guard managing and plenty of traveling.
Blake Arney (Ensemble)Blake Arney is a student pursuing both education and vocal training under the guidance of Kenney Seay. With a passion for music and storytelling, Blake refines their craft through dedication and creativity, shaping a unique artistic voice along the way.
Hugh Wellons (Angie the Ox)Hugh is thrilled to be back for his 4th musical at Attic. G&D is a great musical, and you will enjoy it! He particularly thanks his family, wife, and both daughters, for getting him involved in this suprisingly legal form of monkey business.
Bob Toven (Ensemble/Mission band)Bob is a retired instructional assistant with a BA degree in speech and theater from JMU. This will be his 4th musical at Attic and you may remember him as Fagin in "Oliver." Bob is excited to be a reprising a role he first performed as a high school student almost 60 years ago.
Kevin Bertholf (Lookout/Sightseer)Kevin is returning to the Attic stage after a long absence. He was last seen as John Hancock in "1776". Some of his favorite roles have been Fred in "Miracle on 42nd Street", Frank Butter in "Annie, Get Your Gun", and the Ship's Architect in "Titanic The Musical".
