This class will introduce you to a variety of ways to manipulate metals. The smithing Techniques you'll learn include sawing and piercing, polishing, etching, jump ring and chain making and cold connections like rivets and prong settings. These techniques will be used to create a final piece of jewelry that will be presented and discussed at the last class. You may create a piece of your choice: a pin, necklace, cuff, earrings, hair accessory, etc. Kacie will give guidance, but the choice project is up to the student.
