The Importance of Being Earnest Cast

Samantha Murray (Algy Moncrief)
Samantha is so proud to be a part of this amazing production! Favorite previous roles in the area include Florence (The Female Version of the Odd Couple), Joanne Galloway (A Few Good Men), and Bad Idea Bear (Avenue Q). Samantha would like to send a HUGE thank you to Karly, Will, and this wonderfully supportive cast. She’s hopes you enjoy this production of ‘Earnest,’ and that it inspires you to rethink gender, societal norms, and Bunburying.
Mark Wallace (Lane / Merriman)
Mark made his theatre debut on Spotlighters Theater stage in Moon Over Buffalo in 2019. This is his first time working with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. He has also worked the Maryland Ensemble Theatre in Frederick. He started his career in short films in his home country of Trinidad and Tobago. He is currently working on pursuing a career in Film and/or Television and music. He would like to thank his friends and family for supporting his passion for the arts.
Keira Kheel (J. Worthing, J.P.)
For the first time in almost ten years, Keira is returning to acting on stage. She also has a budding little actor on the way as she is currently twelve weeks pregnant. Other than acting, she has stage managed, directed, and help produce shows with her partner, Eliyahu Kheel. Though she is neither climbing a beanstalk nor fetching a pail of water, she hopes that everyone enjoys this amazing show!
Chip Meister (Lady Bracknell)
Chip is simply chuffed to be playing this “Bucket List” role under Will’s capable direction. Chip and Will previously appeared onstage together in Vagabonds’ production of Our Town. Chip is no stranger to ASoB, having been in Guys and Dolls (Big Jule), and having co-directed and designed and built the set for The Odd Couple (Female Version). Other local favorite roles include the Narrator and Dr. Scott in The Rocky Horror Show, Trekkie in Avenue Q, Lennie in Of Mice and Men, and Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, among many others. Chip majored in theatre and worked for several years in regional theatre, stage managing, directing, set building, and anything else that needed doing. He sends much love to cast, crew, friends, and family.
Randi Seepersad (Gwendolyn Fairfax)
Randi Seepersad is a multi-hyphenate artist predominantly on the east coast with specialties including: performing, sound & light board operating, concept designing, stage combat, writing, art, and special FX makeup. She previously specialized in Shakespearean plays and progressed to more modern works, including musicals and TV/Film. She is excited to be working with an amazing cast and crew and would like to thank them for this experience!
Eric Boelsche (Cecily Cardew)
Eric is a graduate from the Towson University department of Theatre Arts with a BS in Theatre Studies. Naming a favorite role he’s played is difficult because he has been given so many amazing opportunities as an actor in the Baltimore area. He was Van in Dog Sees God, Detective Sergeant Trotter in The Mousetrap, Horst in Bent, Caliban in The Tempest, Marty in The House of Yes, and now is honored to show audiences Cecily Cardew with the very talented cast of The Importance of Being Earnest. “I hope you enjoy.”
Karisa Sikora (Ms. Prism)
This is Karisa's third time on stage and her first play. Prior to her role as Ms. Prism, Karisa preformed as Ms. Lynch in Phoenix Festival Theater's production of Grease. She played Marie/ensemble in PFT's production of Beauty and The Beast. Karisa is very excited to be exploring a new realm of theater after watching her children perform in plays for the last seven years. She enjoys painting sets and being a part of the production crew for TheatreWorks Live. She is very grateful for this opportunity and the amazing support of Will and the entire cast of Earnest.
Sean Hogan (Rev. Dr. Chasuble)
Sean is thrilled to be in his first production with ASOB. This is Sean’s first live production in the Baltimore area since 2013, a problem he is glad to correct. In the intervening time he lived in Philadelphia and Boston acquiring his bachelors’ degree in English and Theater at Saint Joseph’s University and an MFA in Musical Theater from Boston Conservatory. He thanks his mother and father most of all. He thanks Renee Dobson, Dennis Trainor, this wonderful cast and crew, his students in the fifth and fourth grade at Saint Francis of Assisi School where he teaches English Language Arts and Social Studies, and anyone who came out and supported local artists here now!
