When Lenore receives a message from childhood friend Roderick Usher, she views it as a chance to reunite with old friends and rekindle lost love. However it soon becomes clear that the Ushers are not as she remembers. Roderick has become a strange recluse and his sister Madeline lingers on the very edge of death. The perfect opportunity for actors wanting to take their acting to the next level, Out of the Box is our ensemble-based acting troupe for teens and adults. This unique combination of in-class training and rehearsal will focus on ensemble building, script analysis, and engaging storytelling. Each semester will also end with a staged performance that shows we like to think out of the box! The Out of the Box Players meet weekly on Fridays from 7:15-8:45pm from September-January and February-June.
