A versatile creator based in the bustling heart of New York City, Zsay Moore is armed with a Multi-Media Performing Arts degree and a fervent dedication to the arts. With a diverse array of training and project experience in the NYC area, Zsay seamlessly navigates between the stage, tech, and both sides of the camera, driven by the objective of influencing the world through artistic expression. Her portfolio boasts an impressive array of stage and film credits, including captivating performances in productions such as "Waiting for Lefty," "The Passion of Antigona Perez," "Lord Colours," "Martha’s Verse," and "Lord Just One More Chance." Zsay's versatile talent illuminates each project with a unique vibrancy, leaving a lasting impact on audiences. Furthermore, Zsay has expanded her creative footprint by producing and directing TV shows, including the uproarious "Turnt Up Komedy," a dynamic stand-up comedy show that showcases her appreciation for humor, and the endearing "Baby Babble," a thought-provoking talk show featuring young girls, exemplifying her dedication to empowering emerging voices. Eagerly anticipating and deeply honored to join the production of "Mamma the Super Action Hero," Zsay embraces the opportunity to contribute her creative prowess to the theatrical landscape.
Alton Ray (Pvt. Wayne Miner)
Alton Ray is a Northern CA native who classically trained at SUNY Purchase, where he received his BFA in Acting. Ray is grateful to God for his wonderful wife and two sons, and for the opportunity to help bring this story to life for the betterment of us all. NYC Off Broadway credits: He was last seen onstage at LaMama in NEC’s NO POLICY, NO JUSTICE. He also portrayed Wayne Miner in the BUFFALO HERO OF WWI: THE WAYNE MINER STORY by Kenthedo Robinson (American Theater of Actors); NEC’s MECCA IS BURNING (Harlem School for the Arts); Cris Eli Blak’s CLIPPER CUT NATION (Cherry Lane Theater) and NEC’s ELEVATORS by Mona Washington (UPENN Live Arts) Los Angeles Theater credits: Neil Simon’s Rumors at The Blank Stage, Los Angeles; Sam Shepard’s Cowboy Mouth at The New Collective Theater, Fringe Festival; in Hollywood.
Sharell Williams (Angelica)
Sharell Williams is a 2021 Circle in the Square Theatre School graduate from Tampa, Florida. She has been studying acting since 2014 and is a member of SAG-AFTRA. She also holds a broadcast journalism degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). Her favorite roles have been Susan in David Mamet's Race and Alicia in the Negro Ensemble Company’s Mecca is Burning. She looks forward to many more opportunities as she continues to embark on the journey of storytelling.
James Oliver (Franklin B. Seymoure)
James Oliver is a talented voice-over actor from Yonkers, New York. He is excited to make his debut performance at The American Theater of Actors. From a young age, he has been captivated by television and film production and eagerly anticipates broadening his scope within the expansive realm of acting. James is also a man of faith who enjoys practicing martial arts in his spare time.
Ms. D (Mamma Miner)
Ms. D. is excited to return as Mamma Miner in the Crystal Image Performing Arts Productions’ The Buffalo Hero of WWI: The Wayne Miner Story. She has also performed in The Divine Assignment Murder Mystery Series ‒ Parts I, II and III and Oedipus the King. With the Shining Star Productions she portrayed Sadie in Resurrection.
Nicholas Dodge (Cpt. Kenneth Quincy Blu )
Nicholas grew up at the foot of the Green Mountains in a small town of Franconia, New Hampshire but is proud to have called NYC 'Home' for the past 30 years. Nicholas has been involved with many productions from stage, film and several web series and is excited to be part of this special production and working with Kenthedo and an exceptional, inspiring cast.
Shatique Brown (Pvt. Rafius Rucker)
Shatique (He/him) has starred in many hit productions such as "Stupid Fxcking Bird", "Joe Turner's Come and Gone" ,“Fame”, “The Wiz”, "Fences", and “Day of Absence/Happy Ending”.Shatique Brown fell in love with the theatre ever since he started acting with the BGHS Drama Club.Mr. Kenthedo Robinson, the director of the club has been a constant inspiration in his life, as a mentor, father-figure, and friend. Shatique wants to become the greatest performer he could possibly be. Shatique wants to inspire the next generation just as he was by the greats in this World. Don't ever stop smiling.
Rommell Sermons (Lt. Henry Nugent Ivan Clark )
Rommell Sermons received his BA in Theatre Arts from SUNY New Paltz, where he portrayed such roles as, Brutus Jones in Eugene O’Neal’s “The Emperor Jones." He first caught the acting bug at the age of ten, performing in “The Temple of Youth” at Lehman College, and was also inspired from watching his grand¬father’s sermons every Sunday. Other theater credits include: “The Breakout,” (The Flea Theatre) “A Raisin in the Sun,” (Paul Robeson Theatre) “Somebody’s Calling My Name,” (The Raint Theatre) “The Healing Zone,” Audelco Nominated for Best Ensemble (Black Spectrum Theatre) "Death by Poker" ( Nuyorican Poets Cafe) and "The Resurrection" (American Theater of Actors) which was nominated Best New Off-Broadway play by Broadway World.
