Alan Hasnas (KING LEAR)
Alan has appeared in many productions over the years from contemporary to the classics. He's had the opportunity to play some of the great roles in Shakespeare, including 'Henry V,' 'Macbeth,' 'Bolingbrook,' 'Mark Antony,' and 'King Claudius,' and ‘Richard III.’ He's also appeared in commercials, as well as episodic TV.
Jonathan Beebe (KING OF FRANCE)
Jonathan is a Manhattan based actor, writer, and singer. Jonathan has been actively involved in the theater since he was a teenager. Some upcoming productions for him include the Queens Short Play Festival with The Secret Theatre, which he is participating in as both an actor and playwright, and the world premiere of “Closets”, which is an original play being put on by the Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop in July. Jonathan is so excited to be involved in his very first production with the American Theatre of Actors.
Travis Bergmann (KENT)
Travis was most recently on stage in Crazy Love at The American Theatre of Actors playing the role of Tom. He was also featured in the ATA’s The Family Serenade earlier this year and was in The International Human Rights Art Festival at The Tank in the one-act play Sherry’s Bop. Off-stage, he has appeared in several recent television and short film projects including Evil Lives Here, Lacrimosa, and Savior of the Universe. Instagram: @travbergs
Amber Brookes (REGAN)
Amber is a British born, NYC based actress overjoyed to be part of another epic ATA production. Favorite credits include; Ophelia in Hamlet, Brenda in Four Dogs and a Bone, Lily in My Motor Won’t Work and all six Dream Greeters in Dream On, Baransky! and it’s revival Dream On, Baransky! Second Dose - in which she also served as Assistant Director. Amber also made her Directorial debut here at ATA earlier this year, directing Frank Cossa’s Apostrophe. Jane Culley* (GONERIL & Dramaturge)
Jane has, to her credit, over 50 Off and Off-Off Broadway plays including 21 Shakespearean leading ladies (including Macbeth with Raul Julia at The Public Theatre. Contemporary plays include The Holy Junkie (recipient of the Jean Dalrymple Award and T.O.R. Award) and 'Til Jason Comes by Dan Lauria. Jane was named Best Actress by New York Magazine in the NY First Run Film Festival for Agnieszka Vosloo's short film PATE (short-listed by the Academy Awards for Best Shirt Film).
Oliver Figueroa (LORD OF BURGUNDY / GENTLEMAN / DOCTOR / KNIGHT / OLD MAN )
Oliver is a local New York actor originally from Wichita,KS. He has appeared in Rope, The Woolgatherer, Twelve Angry Men, Wait Until Dark, Baby Jane: The Musical amongst other projects. He produced, directed, acted and contributed writing in ‘A Night of Scenes.’ He also co-hosts shows for The Ride. He has worked with Theresa M. Sloat, Richard Pinter, Stephanie Jones,Blake Haberman, Colleen Wallnau and Gary Ramsey.
Richard Fisher (CORNWALL)
Richard is thrilled to be a part of another ATA production, having previously been seen in A House In The Suburbs, Phaedra and A Cause For Common Action. Sam Cruz (OSWALD)
Sam is a NYC based actor from California. He was recently in the play Apostrophe! at the American Theater for Actors. He has also been a part of numerous readings at the Actors Studio Playwright Division. American Academy of Dramatic Arts 2020.
Sam Hardy (EDGAR)
Sam is honored to be a part of the Summer of Classics at ATA, having most recently appeared as Professor Rubek in When We Dead Awaken. Select ATA credits include: The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Ensemble), The Last of The Freudians (Jeff Hamilton), Julius Caesar (Brutus), Phaedra (The Citizen), King John (Lewis the Dauphin). Sam has appeared regionally with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. He holds a BA in Theatre from The University of Alabama.
Jake Minter (EDMUND)
Jake has directed several musicals across the U.S and produced several plays including Richard III - of which he starred in as 'Buckingham'. You may have seen him on screen as 'Edmund' in the world release of #LEAR, a film adaptation of Shakespeare's King Lear. Selected professional credits include 'Hamlet' in Hamlet and 'Konstantine' in The Seagull. Quinn Nguyen (CORDELIA)
Quinn is an Australian actress based in NYC, she completed her classical training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She made her onstage debut at the American Theatre of Actors' for the off-broadway show “Dream On Baransky”. She is thrilled to announce her return to the Cullum Theatre for her upcoming performance of Cordelia in Shakespeare’s “King Lear”.
Phil Oetiker (GLOUCESTER)
This is Phil’s seventh play since restarting his acting journey last year after 35 years working as a cinematographer and camera operator on major motion pictures and TV series, including serving as the original cameraman on “Law & Order”, and several Spike Lee movies, including “Malcolm X” and “Jungle Fever”. A former radio and television announcer he has continued a side career as a Voice Over actor. Phil enjoys umpiring High School baseball and competing in curling. Phil lives in Brooklyn.

Jake Smith (FOOL)
Jake Smith is a graduate of Washington College, where he performed in "Macbeth," the one-man play "Every Beautiful Thing," and earned an honors degree in Theater and Dance. He has taught Hip-Hop classes and does his own choreography. Since moving to New York, he has performed in theater and film productions, including "Hamlet," "Bird on the Bias," and "CSI On Trial." Taking a bold step forward, Jake is branching out and developing new skills, such as lighting design, to bring performance art to life.
