Alexis Miller (Helga)
Alexis has worked with the Alban for many years, either attending classes or taking the stage in shows such as Christmas Carol (Benevolent Gentlemen/Ensemble), Taming of the Shrew (Biondello), and many others. She has also taken part in various other shows around West Virginia, such as Beauty and the Beast (Cogsworth) at the Children’s Theatre of Charleston; Moana (Moana) at the First Stage Theatre; Frozen Jr. . (Oaken) at H.A.R.T., and many others. Alexis is beyond thankful to be a part of Cabaret, finding a real family in the cast she works with along with a newfound confidence in herself. You can clearly see the deep care and love the people in this cast have for each other and the hard work put into this production. This show is pure electric, and you absolutely don’t want to miss it! Welcome to Cabaret~
Mandy Petry (Herman)
Mandy has been apart of numerous productions with The Alban including Richard III, Antigone, The Women and Wyrd Sisters. She would like to thank the cast and crew of Cabaret for being magnificent performers and people and allowing her to share the stage with them.
Jacey Lovejoy (Frenchie)
Jacey Lovejoy is brand new to Musical Theatre and is so excited to have joined the cast for Cabaret. She enjoys singing and reading, and is so thankful to the wonderful director Marlette for giving her a chance on her first ever audition! She hopes to do many upcoming shows and musicals with Alban Arts Center and is so excited to join the stage and make this show come to life with this amazing cast and crew!
Joseph Singletary (Bobby)
Despite having a preference for working backstage, Joseph Singletary has decided to grace the community theatre stage one last time before leaving for college in the fall. Favorite productions include Children of Eden (Seth/Shem) with the Alban and Treasure Island (Jim Hawkins) with Children’s Theatre of Charleston. He’d like to thank his family, past and present cast members, and viewers like you. Thank you.
Victoria Suarez (Rosie)
Victoria Suarez (Rosie) is excited to join the Alban Arts family in her first show in the Saint Albans area. Her past stage roles have included Antigone (Antigone), Juror 9 (12 Angry Women), Violet (9 to 5), countless others, and two directorial roles. Acting brings her happiness she cannot describe. She is thankful for her castmates, the directing crew, stage crew, and her family and loved ones.
Elijah Kiser (Victor)
Elijah Kiser has been an actor of the Alban since he was five years old. He has spent over a decade doing several jobs within the theatre. Notable examples being Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web. Able/Ham in Children of Eden. Yukon Cornelius in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Earthworm in James and the Giant Peach. In addition he assistant directed The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and is a graduate of Governors School of the Arts. He hopes you all enjoy Cabaret!!
Taylor Shaw (Lulu)
Taylor Shaw has been extremely active in the Kanawha Valley theatre scene since returning from college with her BA in English and Theatre in 2018. Fresh off her role as Little Red in CLOGs production of Into the Woods, Taylor is extremely excited to join the Cabaret cast in this bucket-list-worthy experience. Her other most notable roles working with the Alban include Laurel Ann Drummond in Pontypool, Cook in Clue, and Belle/Ghost of Christmas Future in A Christmas Carol. Taylor would like to thank her fiancé, Dakota, and her parents for always believing in her dreams. Welcome to the Cabaret!
Mark Worlledge (Fritzie/Max)
Mark has built a resume of numerous ballet, contemporary dance and musical theatre credits. He attended University of North Carolina School of the Arts as a contemporary dance major. At UNC he appeared as Facades in Dance in De Mille and Eiscen Taer’a Voyd in Emerging. A long-time student and company member of River City Youth Ballet Ensemble, his dance roles vary from the prince in Cinderella to Franz in Coppelia. His dance studies have included master classes with Michelle Raider, David Howard, Peter Frame, Nina Danilova and a summer intensive with the Cincinnati Ballet. Mark guested with Huntington Dance Theater as the Nutcracker in the ballet by the same name and appeared in 5 Great Russian Ballet Nutcracker productions. Charleston Light Opera Guild shows include The Wedding Singer, Legally Blonde and Hairspray cabert footloose . Andrew Lee Adkins (Cliff Bradshaw)
Andrew Lee Adkins (Clifford Bradshaw): Andrew is very grateful to be returning to the Alban Arts Center for Cabaret. He previously portrayed Benny in the Alban’s 2022 production of Rent. Other theater credits include: Charleston Light Opera Guild Elf the Musical (Charlie/Jim), Kinky Boots (Pub Band Guitar Player/Ensemble), Footloose (Garvin), Something Rotten (Yorrick), Paradise Park (Jerk Ex-Boyfriend) and Tip Jar Theater: Spock’s Brain (Lt. Sulu). Andrew has acted in television/film work for the WV Lottery, University of Charleston and Universal Studios Pitch Perfect 3. Andrew has also worked backstage on various stage crews for CLOG and Boone County S.T.A.G.E. Andrew is employed as a Project Manager with the Supreme Court of Appeals of WV and proud alumni of the University of Charleston. He enjoys traveling and keeping his dog Bash entertained.
Sidney Wolfe-Harmon (Sally Bowles)
Bio: Sidney is thrilled to be back on the Alban stage as Sally Bowles. You may have previously seen Sidney at the Paramount Art Center where she portrayed Anastasia (Anastasia). Previous roles include Natalie Goodman (Next to Normal), Cain/Yonah (Children of Eden), Sue Snell (Carrie), Lindsay (Godspell in Concert) & many more! This has been a dream show for many years! Sidney would like to thank her friends & family for always supporting her.
Erin Carico (The Master of Ceremonies )
Erin joined the community theater scene in 2010 and has loved every minute of it. Her recent notable roles include Mrs. Peacock (Clue), Katherina (The Taming of a Shrew), and Granny Weatherwax (Wyrd Sisters), all with The Alban. She also performs with Murder & Merriment interactive murder mystery troupe. Cabaret marks a return to musicals after 10 years in a bucket-list role. She would like to thanks her supportive husband, parents, family, and friends, and promises to get back to running her tabletop games soon.
Hope Griffith (Texas)
This will be Hope's second show with The Alban. Her first was in the ensemble of Rent, a show she will always hold close to her heart. Hope has been passionate about theater since middle school. She started performing with the Charleston Light Opera Guild as a teenager and has been in many shows since then. Some of her favorite roles with CLOG have been Aunt March in Little Women, Matthews in Elf, tightrope walker/clown in Barnum, Countess in Cinderella, Katie Nana in Mary Poppins, and tap ensemble in Something Rotten! Recently she portrayed Granny , Cinderella's Mother, and the Giant in CLOG'S version of Into The Woods a show she has performed in three seperate times. Hope has trained with Deborah Lucas in classical voice and with Mark Hornbaker. She loves make up and has been to classes for everything from theatrical makeup to SFX. Hope continues her studies at Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary science in the fall. She wants to thank Marlette for giving her the opportunity to find her inner Texas, and truly set her aflame onstage. She dedicates her performance to her best friend Andrew in celebration of his portrayal of Clifford Bradshaw. Cabaret is a bucket list show for her and it is truly a dream come true for her to be part of such a beautiful show!
Susanna Morris (Fraulein Kost)
Susanna Morris (Fraulein Kost) is appearing in her third Alban show with Cabaret. She previously appeared in Taming of the Shrew as Tranio, and in Children of Eden as Aphra/Snake Leader. She has also appeared in The Wedding Singer and A Christmas Carol with The Paramount Players, and in Ragtime and Oklahoma with CLOG, among other shows. This has been a dream show for her to perform in for well over a decade, and she hopes you enjoy watching it as much as we've enjoyed working on it.
Fletcher (Dewey)
Dewey is an international man of mystery: bold, aloof, dangerous with both schnitzel and strudel. He has appeared on the Alban stage with 'The Merry Wives of Windsor', and has most recently appeared in 'Into The Woods' with Charleston Light Opera Guild.
Dan Reed (Herr Schultz)
Dan Reed has much in common with Herr Schultz - he is elderly, balding, has heartburn, and is missing a leg. Willkommen!
Jakob Spruce (Ernst Ludwig)
Jakob Spruce is a multidisciplinary theatre artist born and raised in the heart of Appalachia. He holds an honors B.A. in Theatre Arts (Tech/Design) from West Virginia Wesleyan College with minors in Musical Theatre, Gender Studies, and English. He also holds an MFA degree in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Point Park University. Professionally, he has worked at Theatre West Virginia and the Glimmerglass Opera Festival in New York as a costumer and dresser. Currently, Jakob serves as the theatre director at Capital High School where he works with students to create safe and inclusive environments that allow positive, collaborative artistic expression to flourish using an ethos of restorative justice and theatrical intimacy. He is so happy to be having his stage debut at the Alban Arts Center with such a strong and loving cast and crew!
