The Rocket Man: The Robert Goddard Musical Cast
Ryan Sullivan (Robert Goddard)Here’s my data: By day, I teach high school biology. By night, I usually collapse exhausted and go to bed early, but occasionally I find my way to the stage through community theater with WLCOC (Chess, Merrily We Roll Along, And The World Goes Round, Dogfight) and Calliope Productions (The Last Five Years).
I’m grateful to Stephen Murray for the opportunity to be part of this production, and to help tell the story of Worcester’s own Robert Goddard. Goddard once said, “The dreams of yesterday are the hopes of today and the reality of tomorrow.” I hope his story adds a little fuel to whatever dream you’re carrying with you.
Jeanine Belcastro Went (Esther Goddard and Ensemble)Since her youth, Jeanine has had the privilege of performing in new works. She premiered Stephen Sondheim’s Something Just Broke” in Assassins (Boston University) before it became part of the revised production. She performed in The Gift of the Magi (InStages Musical Theatre
Company) inspiring new material written just for her. She also originated roles in Sunshine, Lollipops & Rainbows (Cornerstone Playhouse), The Family: A Mob Musical (G&V Productions at
Trinity Rep), and Nellie: The Musical (4 th Wall Stage Company), with Rocket Man’s
composer/lyricist and directing team. She thanks the production team for including her in this wonderful production!
Tracy Martino (Fannie Goddard, Effie Ward, Anne Lindbergh, Kitty MacNamee)Tracy has performed across Massachusetts, from the Berkshires to Martha’s Vineyard, and is pleased to be back onstage with 4th Wall. Favorite roles include the Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), Gertrude (Seussical), Lin (The Great American Trailer Park Musical), and Lucy (The Telephone).
Tracy is a board member, director, and member of the youth theatre staff at Calliope Productions in Boylston. You can hear her voice on demo recordings of new musicals by Stephen Murray at Eldridge Publishing. By day, Tracy teaches 5th and 6th grade general music in Shrewsbury, MA, where her students are unfailingly honest critics of her 6 shows a day.
Chris Bardizbanian (Young Robert, Timmy, Kurt)Chris's recent roles include, Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (The Hanover Theatre), Narrator in Romeo & Juliet (Burncoat Theater), Narrator in Universe and Other Stuff (Calliope Theatre), Bert in Mary Poppins Jr. (Calliope Theatre), Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz (West Tatnuck Drama Club), Marty The Zebra in Madagascar-A Musical Adventure Jr. (Calliope Theater), The Kid in Casey At The Bat (4th Wall Stage Company), Big Bad Wolf in Mother Goose Inc. (Calliope Theatre) and General Mayhem in Totally Awesome! (Calliope Theater). He enjoys singing, acting, playing the piano and soccer. Chris would like to thank his family and teachers for their support. He also thanks the creators and directors of The Rocket Man for giving him this wonderful opportunity to join the talented cast in telling Robert Goddard’s story.

Jim Douglas (Benny Doyle, George Neal, Naval Officer, Second Lawyer)Jim began performing in 2010. Since then, he has been a frequent performer on stages throughout Central Massachusetts and Northeast Connecticut (this will be his 59th and the 6th with 4th Wall Stage Company, but who’s counting?).
