Frank Bartucca, Director - Frank Bartucca, Founder of 4th Wall and Artistic Director. Originially from Maryland, Frank has lived in Massachusetts since the mid 1970’s. He has studied acting with a variety of professional directors and theater companies in the Boston area, and has completed training in the Meisner Acting Method. He holds Bachelor and Master’s degrees in English Literature and pursued Doctoral Studies at Emory University, completing all but dissertation. Along with Robbin Joyce and Barbara Guertin, Frank has participated in all of the 4th Wall productions in some capacity: acting, directing, producing, stage hand. He has appeared in numerous stage productions both in Central Massachusetts and in the Boston area, most notably the New England Repertory Company where he has both acted and directed.

 

Barbara Guertin, Producer - Managing Director of 4th Wall - is originally from New York City, and a long-standing member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA, Barbara has over 40 years of experience as a performer, director and producer, and is one of the founders of the Mint Theater Company (NYC), but has performed in numerous professional productions across the country. Barbara starred with Ed Asner in God Help Us just before his passing, and has appeared in major feature films, television series, and soaps. For 4th Wall, she directed Photograph 51, Women Who Mapped the StarsBlue Yonder, The Most Dangerous Woman, and Nellie The Musical – all for Women’s History Month, at the Worcester Historical Museum. At the Hanover Theater, she directed A Streetcar Named Desire and Sam Shepard’s Simpatico, and produced Twelve Angry Jurors. At the JMAC, If I Forget. Also under the 4th Wall umbrella, Barbara directed Thornwood at Q.C.C. with their students, co-produced Killer Joe with Boston's Zero Point Theater and brought it to The Hibernian Club and partnered with Lowell’s Image Theater on Naughty Bits I & II. Barbara is committed to Worcester’s cultural landscape and collaborates with non-profits to help with fundraising and to supply talent for events. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from Rutgers University, MBA in HR Management from Fitchburg State, Executive Education Certificate from Wharton, and has studied in London, New York, and on the West Coast. Barbara also produces and casts films with local independent filmmakers. www.imdb.com/barbaraguertin

Eric L'Ecuyer, Technical Director - Eric’s prior theater experience includes having been the Technical Director for Stageloft Theater for eleven years. There he was fortunate to make his way from behind the scenes to the stage in roles such as Cheswick – One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Juror #2 – Twelve Angry Men, Dogberry – Much Ado About Nothing, Catesby – Richard III, and Renfield – Dracula.  He then played Ellard in the Bradley Playhouse version of The Foreigner and then was Technical Director for their production of Doubt. A few of Eric’s favorite Tech Designs have been. The Woman In Black, Death Trap, Waiting For Godot and Hamlet. Eric is a Commercial Photographer who’s studio is right in Downtown Worcester. www.ericlecuyer.com.
