Mission Statement:

Region 10 Players was founded in 2018 with a vision to serve students of all ages in the Burlington and Harwinton communities through theatre.  It is the mission of the Region 10 Players to create theatrical experiences of integrity and excellence.  The arts are fundamental to the well-rounded education and theater exemplifies this as a synthesis of all the fine, applied, and performing arts.  The goal is to expose students to the processes of theatre-making including the literature of both plays and musicals and to the authentic experience of tackling theatrical production.  At its core, the theatre grants theatre-makers and audience the opportunity to "walk in someone else's shoes."  Region 10 Players promote critical thinking along with compassion for self and others so that we may act for ourselves, our theatre, and our communities.  Theatre is ephemeral in the moment and enduring in the heart and mind.
