OUR SEASON

Our first event of 2023 was “Brunch and a Play at Ana's Kitchen” on Saturday, January 15th, at 12:00 p.m. It sold out quickly, and we had a great time – thanks for coming!

Next up, was a reprise of the romantic comedy, “Wine with Winnie” at Lost Acres Vineyard, on April 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Tickets sold out quickly, and we had a wonderful time. Stay tuned, for the sequel, “Weddings with Winnie!," in August of 2024.

We returned to Ana's Kitchen on Mother's Day, May 14th, for a Storytelling event called “If It's Not One Thing, It's Your Mother!” It was a fun and festive reception – thanks to all who participated!

In June, Betsy's original play, “How to Bake a Farce,” was presented at the first annual Manchester Playwright Festival. It was a great weekend, showcasing cool new work

In October, we partnered with Herstory Theatre, to present “A Howl of a Night,” a live radio drama. Betsy contributed the first spooky play of the evening, “Parlour Games.”

Betsy's original play, “Of Ships and Dreams,” was beautifully presented at the Fern Street Play Festival in West Hartford on October 13th.

And finally, Playland Productions was thrilled to participate in Simsbury Celebrates for the first time, on Saturday, November 25th. We partnered with the Theatre Guild of Simsbury to present an original play with music, “A SimsBEARy Christmas!” We loved seeing everyone come out for this special show, to kick off the holiday season!

Thanks for a wonderful 2023, and we hope to see you in the New Year!
