The theatre department at Northridge High School has a strong tradition of mounting high-quality productions that dazzle audiences and provide challenging opportunities for performers. The last several year’s productions included Tarzan, Anything Goes, Newsies, Little Mermaid, West Side Story, Footloose, Singing in the Rain, Music Man, Hunchback, Joseph, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, and Hairspray. These performances have been phenomenal experiences for the actors and audiences alike.

NHS Musical Theatre has been honored with multiple nominations from the “Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards” including best musical, best actor, best actress, best ensemble, best costumes, best student design, best student costumes, best tech crew, and more.  Three years in a row, we won the award at the UHSMTA for best CHOREOGRAPHY.  (Winners: Anything Goes, Newsies, West Side Story). The last 2 years, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder and Bright Star received the award for BEST STUDENT SET DESIGN! Beauty and the Beast was winner of Best Orchestra.  Mean girls was nominated for numerous awards including best musical.  The time, energy, and talent put into these shows will have you coming back for more. We are very honored to be counted among such amazing Theatre Programs here in Utah.
