About liahona theatre

Liahona Preparatory Academy holds seven NATIONAL championship titles from the Utah Shakespeare Festival, six STATE UHSAA championship titles, and several regional UHSAA acting and technical theatre awards.

Our theatre program educates students in grades K-12 from all around the country, performing in 5-7 productions each school year.

In April 2022, we finally opened our brand new state-of-the-art performance venue! Liahona's 460 seat grand theater houses The Cook Center for Human Connection Stage, a massive 46 foot wide proscenium space with automated fly system, turn tables and lifts, and two sound-resistant cry rooms.  With orchestra and balcony seating, each seat in this expansive theater is within 36 feet of the front of the stage giving a rare but much needed intimate feel for performances. Liahona is thrilled to be home to this one-of-a-kind theater, unlike anything else in Utah County.

THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS DONORS/PARTNERS WHO HAVE HELPED MAKE OUR NEW THEATER POSSIBLE:
