Incarnate Word High School's Green Light Theatre Company is a program dedicated to creating well-rounded students who are passionate about their craft. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where students of all experience and background feel welcome to perform, create, and learn about the theater. Our program allows for students to receive hands-on experience with different aspects of theatre such as acting, singing, and dancing. We offer a wide variety of shows such as straight plays, musicals, and showcases. The Green Light Theatre also introduces students to the areas of production such as scenic design, costume design, hair/makeup design, set building, stage managing, student directing, stage crew, business crew, lighting, sound, and much more! We work to collaborate in a way that produces a result we can all take pride in. Our goals for the 2022 - 2023 school year include teaching incoming theater members about the various roles they may partake in. As well as holding fundraisers to bring recognition and assistance to the theater. We welcome all types of help and support and we thank all those who encourage our theater family, such as the IWHS administration, staff, faculty, parents, alumni, and most of all our students.
