Hallsville High School Theatre Department, located in Hallsville, Texas, has a rich history marked by excellence in performing arts. Shalem Carr- Director

 

Shalem Carr is a graduate of Northwestern state University with Musical theatre and Dance. She has been the theatre director for 12 years at Hallsville, and she is excited to continue her career! She is thankful for every single opportunity that Hallsville has given her and enjoys the directing process. She has directed successful musicals and UIL One Act plays that have advanced every year except her first year of her career. She enjoys the one act play process because it teaches our team to be adaptable and to work hard together towards a common goal. Shalem has two sons, Jadon and Malachi and loves to spend time with them and her husband, Nicolas. In her free time she loves to teach dance workout classes, act on the stage in Shreveport, choreograph for local universities, and read plays. "We Create, We Perform, We Inspire"

 

 

 

 

 

 

Drew Frazier- Technical Director

 

Drew Frazier is a resident of Marshall, TX. He has been teaching at Hallsville High School for 3 years and has been involved in theatre for over a decade. His latest professional credits involve serving as the lighting designer of the Texas Shakespeare Festival on productions such as Twelfth Night, Steel Magnolias, Macbeth, and Kiss Me, Kate.
