Pandora Scooter
Playwright - Merry Mary Marries Marie
Pandora Scooter is an award-winning biracial (Japanese/Jewish), queer, middle-aged, Gen X playwright, script analyst, instructor, performer, spoken word artist and activist. She has worked in the literary departments of Arena Stage, the Goodman Theatre, Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey, Delaware Theatre Company, George Street Playhouse and New York Theatre Workshop as a script reader, literary associate and dramaturg. In 1999, she and Rosemary McLaughlin founded The Hallie Flanagan Women's Play Reading Series at Wings Theatre Company, which ran for three years. A life long script analyst, Pandora has created a practical guide to script analysis called The Bunseki Method and has written a text book on the subject of the same name.

Rosemary McLaughlin
Playwright - The Hanukkah Bush
Rosemary McLaughlin has been awarded multiple New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowships in Playwriting and Poetry. Recent works include: Breaking Quarantine, performed by The Coronavirus Plays Project; Texas Walmart, Monologues & Madness, Panjera; Bella For The Revolution, Cornelia Street Cafe; Pushing The River, staged reading directed by Mikaela Kafka, Jersey City Theatre Center; and Sensitive, directed by Ben Ranaan, SHEatre. A member of the Dramatists Guild, Rosemary received her MFA from Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts. Rosemary is a professor of Theatre and Dance at Drew University where she directs the Playwriting program. She and her wife, Laurie, live in Maplewood, NJ, with their two children, three cats and one rabbit. She is delighted to have been selected to participate in the inaugural Women Playwrights Circle at Speranza Theatre. There she has been developing her ten-minute play, The Hannukah Bush, as well as her full-length comedy, Thank You, Dark, about gentrification, theatre development and LGBTQ activism.

Catherine Weingarten is a friendly jewish chick from an obscure area of Pennsylvania! Honors Include: the Scott McPherson Award and the Tennessee Williams Scholarship through the Sewanee Writer’s Conference. She has previously developed her “girly, trashy” work with Dixon Place, The Tank, Less Than Rent, Sam French OOB Short Play Festival, Last Frontier Theater Conference. Catherine has participated in Art House Production’s INKubator Writer’s Group, New Perspective’s Women’s Work Short Play Lab and The Shelter’s Virtual King Lear project.
