Alli Mae Carnes
Alli is a full time actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, and teacher. Originally from Florida, she grew up dancing in the Nutcracker Ballet and various dance competitions. Since moving to the Triangle in 2018, Alli has performed in multiple shows and has worked as a choreographer/teaching artist for the NCT Conservatory, Raleigh Area Children's Theatre, St. Mary's School, Sanderson High School, Raleigh School of Music, Raleigh Little Theatre, Gallery Players, and Justice Theater Project. When she is not performing or teaching with these companies, she teaches voice and acting lessons from her private studio "The Alli Mae Carnes Studio." She loves teaching students all over the world, spanning over 4 countries, through the AMCS. She is an advocate for self expression and making theatre a safe space where people feel free to be themselves. Hope you enjoy the show! @allimaecarnes

Kathy Ferrell
Kathy Ferrell is thrilled to be working with Honest Pint again after 2 long years! This is Kat’s third show with Honest Pint. She worked on THE HERD, SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS and now AWAY HOME. She has worked as a stage manager and sound designer throughout North Carolina for the past 10 years.

Matthew Hager
Matthew Hager is an actor, composer, and theatre company owner based out of Raleigh, NC. He is a graduate of UNC School of the Arts (high school - drama) and UNC Chapel Hill (BA Dramatic Arts). He has also received training from DePaul University, Shakespeare & Co., and Michael Howard Studios. Local companies for whom Matthew has performed include North Carolina Theatre, Manbites Dog Theater, Deep Dish Theater, Theatre in the Park, Town of Cary/Koka Booth, and Burning Coal Theatre Company. Matthew is a company member of Burning Coal and a longtime actor and instructor in the company's Shakescenes troupe. Matthew has been part of NC Theatre's Theatre4Change program since 2014. In 2017, Matthew founded Aggregate Theatre Company in an effort to develop a younger theatergoing audience in the Triangle. Aggregate has produced seven shows, including a children's theatre series featuring two musicals written by Matthew. As an actor and instructor, Matthew uses Viola Spolin's improvisational theatre techniques as a basis on which to develop more fully-realized, actors, artists, and people.

David Henderson
David is the founder and Co-artistic director of Honest Pint. He is a Morehead Scholar graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill where he was a founding member of Pauper Players, the first musical theatre company on campus and the co-founder of Pie Shop Theatrical with Mark Hartman. He has appeared on stages in NYC, Los Angeles, and here in NC. Most recently he was Jan in Honest Pint’s SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS and Thurston in GREATER TUNA for Theatre in the Park. Prior to that he appeared as Leontes in A WINTER’S TALE and Salter in A NUMBER. Favorite roles include Charlotte in I AM MY OWN WIFE, Tracy in THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE, Lombardi in LOMBARDI, Hamlet in HAMLET, Sweeney in SWEENEY TODD, Chuck in THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY, Ulysses in ANNAPURNA, Joey in A STEADY RAIN, Fr. Laurence in ROMEO AND JULIET, Iago in OTHELLO, Bottom in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, John Adams in 1776, Bobby in COMPANY, Booth in ASSASSINS, Roche in RAT IN THE SKULL, Wishful Waiter in WANT’S UNWISHED WORK, Vanya in UNCLE VANYA and Henry in HENRY V. Susannah Hough
Susannah Hough is an actor, director, producer, voice-over artist, teacher, and Co-Artistic Director of Honest Pint Theatre Co. in Raleigh, NC. She hails from CA but has called Raleigh home for more than 24 years. A sampling of her stage work includes: A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE (Blanche) for which she won a Best Lead Actress award from Stage SceneLA after the pandemic closed the show early in 2020, ANNAPURNA (Emma), THE HERD (Carol), ALWAYS…PATSY CLINE (Louise), LOST IN YONKERS (Bella), HAMLET (Gertrude), ROMEO AND JULIET (Lady Capulet), TWELFTH NIGHT (Maria), OUR TOWN (Mrs. Gibbs), THE GRAPES OF WRATH (Ma Joad), BODY AWARENESS (Phyllis), SUPERIOR DONUTS (Randy), DANCING AT LUGHNASA (Kate), and DEAD MAN WALKING (Lucille Poncelet). Susannah directed THE NIGHT ALIVE, THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY, THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE, and THE METROMANIACS for Honest Pint. She has appeared in short films as well as numerous national commercials and industrial videos.  Recently, Susannah voiced the nutty talk-show host Joan in the audio drama MASTER BUILDER, and the love-starved Paulie in THE NEW COLOSSUS for Artist Soapbox. Training: BFA in Drama from the University of California, The American Conservatory Theater.  She is mom to two amazing children, has been proudly married to her husband, Mark, for 30 years, and is just so damn happy to be here! Tamara Kissane
Tamara Kissane is a playwright, parent, and podcaster based in Pittsboro, NC. She was the 2020 Piedmont Laureate and received Outstanding Contribution to the Arts from Chatham Life & Style. Through her podcast production studio, Artist Soapbox, Tamara has produced, written, and directed a variety of audio dramas including Jesus Pancake (2022), ASBX Shorts (2021), Declaration of Love Anthology (2020), The New Colossus (2020), Master Builder (2019), Creekside with Winona (2021), Trailblazer: Mabel Lee (2022), with several in development. Her plays and monologues have been presented by PlayMakers Repertory, University Theater at NC State, Little Green Pig Theatrical Concern, Burning Coal Theatre, Seed Art Share, and Mad Cow Theatre. Her play NICE WHITE PARENTS 2016 was selected and featured in the first annual Sips & Scripts New Works Festival 2021 (NC Playwrights Lab). Tamara’s new musical AWAY HOME, is in development with Honest Pint Theatre.

Matt Rosine
Matt joins us as one of our newest production crew members. A native of Brighton, England, then Chicago and now Raleigh, Matt comes to us from the world of music performance. After having performed and toured in bands as a trumpet player in both Europe and the US, Matt became an operations and community Director in professional sports. He has a deep love for the arts, theatre and music and is excited to use his experience on the stage and in stage and stadium game day management to support community theatre.

Mia Self
Mia has served as the Assistant Director of Performance and Academics at NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina for the past eight years. She has an MFA from the University of Mississippi and a BA from Catawba College with an emphasis in performance and directing. Mia works as a director, actor, voice and text coach in addition to her periodic jaunts into writing and devising. She is obsessed with the many ways theatre practitioners can creatively apply theatre skills to modern problems, explore and reframe the past, affirm identity and meaning, and holistically educate people. This is her first directing project with Honest Pint and Away Home is a thrilling opportunity to collaborate with Tamara Kissane and Matthew Hager on this new musical.
