BNI Drama Presents: Godspell (2012) Cast
Jhoan Perez Pravia (Jesus)Jhoan is excited and deeply honored to take the stage as Jesus in Godspell (2012), a role that holds special meaning for him. A junior at Bishop Noll Institute, he has developed a strong love for theatre and storytelling through music and performance. Audiences may recognize him as Schroeder in last fall’s musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!, or as Rodrigo in last spring’s musical, Little Women. In addition to performing onstage, Jhoan enjoys working behind the scenes and recently served as the Light & Sound Operator for White Christmas at the Towle Theatre, gaining a new appreciation for the technical artistry that brings productions to life. He is also proud to serve on the Drama Club Board as the Co-Fundraiser Manager. Beyond theatre, Jhoan is actively involved in various clubs and organizations at BNI and is deeply grateful for the support of his friends, mentors, fellow cast members, and production team. Jhoan would like to extend a special thank you to Miss Wragg and Mr. Flaig for being inspiring role models and for leading him to fall in love with theatre. He is truly grateful for the opportunity to portray Jesus and is honored to share the joy, heart, and message of Godspell with today’s audience. Instagram: @iamm_Jhoan
Brayden Young (Judas)Brayden is excited to be a part of his first theater performance as a soloist! He’s never participated in any other productions and has vague backgrounds in music stemming from guitar, piano, and an onstage performance with the band Switchfoot just this past November. He enjoys practicing guitar, piano, and writing. He thanks God, and his parents, for allowing him to be a part of this super fun production and hopes he can be in many more in the future.
Wayne Weber (John the Baptist)Wayne is absolutely hyped to have a role in Bishop Noll’s production of Godspell. This is Wayne’s first ever official production and he is thankful to be entrusted with the role of John the Baptist. Wayne’s first ever experience in any production was in St. John the Baptist’s 2011 Kindergarten Christmas Play as The First King. Out of school, Wayne is often seen playing video games with his friends. He wants to thank all those who have assisted him in his acting journey. Wayne hopes you have a good time with the show!
(Aaliyah Lewis)Aaliyah is a senior at BNI and is so excited to be in the ensemble of BNI’s production of
Godspell. You may have previously seen her in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown as Snoopy, Teach Me How to Cry as the run crew, Little Women as Aunt March, Leaving Iowa as Kerry Terri, and Matilda as a big/little kid. She has been part of the drama club since freshman year
and this is her fourth year being a part of this club. In her free time she likes doing all kinds of art, watching dramas, and listening to K-pop. She is sad because this is her last show at Bishop Noll, but is very excited to be performing in the black box theater and excited to see what 2 weeks of shows will have in store. She would like to thank Ms. Wragg and Mr. Flaig for always believing in her and the cast of Godspell for being such supportive people and making every rehearsal such a warm, welcoming, and safe place for everyone.
(Adelaide Brooks)Adelaide is a freshman who is excited to be on stage for her first time at Bishop Noll. Being one of her first acting experiences, she learned a lot throughout this production. Before Godspell, she was a part of crew for BNI’s fall play, Teach Me How to Cry. Outside of theater, she plays drums in the band and enjoys crocheting. She’s so glad to be a part of the Bishop Noll theater and this Godspell production. She would especially like to thank her parents and grandparents for supporting her and the directors, crew, and fellow actors for the work it takes to put on this show.

She thanks everyone who has encouraged and criticized her to where she is today. She hopes you enjoy Godspell!
(Aria Moore)Aria is honored to be part of her third Bishop Noll production and deeply grateful to continue telling stories on stage in Godspell. Now a junior, Aria finds home in the arts—any space where emotion can be transformed into beauty. Whether through choreography, painting, fashion, creative writing and poetry, or even the careful artistry of cooking, she loves creating with intention and soul, believing that expression is one of the purest forms of connection. To Aria, art is not just something you perform or create, but something you feel, something that allows people to be seen and understood. She aspires to be a leader who gives back, hoping one day to teach and uplift others—children, individuals with disabilities, elders, and anyone in need of guidance or compassion. While she loves the stage and the spotlight, Aria values authenticity above all else and strives to remain true to who she is in a world that often asks people to change. If she accomplishes nothing else, she hopes to always be remembered for her kindness, empathy, and generous heart, as giving to others is what brings her the most joy. Aria would like to thank her family, friends, cast, and directors for their unwavering love and support, and hopes you feel the heart of this show as deeply as she feels honored to be part of it.
